20 CAELVM

CAELVM is a conceptual Art store with limited edition artworks. Each semester the team invites artists and propose them an inspirational theme in which a collection of art pieces, clothing and objects are created. The theme is common to all productions and pieces are produced in three formats: ENIGMA (secret number limited edition), MASTER NUMBERS (exclusive edition of 11, 22 or 33 units) and SINGVLAR (single edition of one piece only). The collections have a NVMEN: special collaboration with an icon who represents with its life and work the project ideas. CAELVM means sky in Latin but also means chisel. In fact, the Romans thought the sky was a system of communicated hollow vaults that the gods had chiseled to “express immortality”. This dual conception of the Roman sky seen as the cornerstone of the universe and at the same time as a canvas used by eccentric characters for surreal purposes has led to the genesis of the project. Transcendental and semifrivolous, the team defines its style as Co(S)mic. The CAELVM atelier is also the scene of thematic workshops with special artists and guests.
